Cool! I hope it helps. I've been using a habit app on my smartphone for a while. At the end of the day I click on each task to show (through green or red) whether I did the task, or had a legitimate reason for skipping (grey). Then the app charts how well I'm doing at keeping to my habits.
I'm trying to write for at least one hour a day for 21 days of each month. The other days are for editing what I've written. Other habits on my list: fiction reading, day job, homemaking, exercise, vitamins, no browsing, only one hour of nonfiction leisure reading, only visit whitelisted websites.
