10 year podficversary, 100 hours of podfic, 100 ao3 works

I think this year has been my most productive to date, and for a very specific reason. I've been attempting to make it to 100 hours of posted podfic on my 10th podficversary. And I made it! I didn't quite manage to get to 100 podfics (where I'm a primary/major voice) but I did manage to get to 100 ao3 works which still feels like a good round number.

I haven't been cross-posting here as much as I'd intended but I've been so wrapped up in just getting things done that posting in multiple places has just not been my top priority.

I definitely started podficcing before 2012 because I started by recording Stargate Atlantis rare(er) pairs for myself. I never finished any of those, but they were recorded on the tiny mp3 player/recorder with that I had to record lectures back in 2010/2011 or so. I think the very first thing I recorded was the prologue to Good Omens. Since then I've recorded on three different phones, a Blue Snowball, and now a Blue Yeti. I've recorded in at least 7 locations, not counting things I recorded while visiting other people/at cons. I've also done editing on three different laptops and a PC.

Onto some stats!



This year wasn't yet my most prolific but almost 19 hours posted this year. Some of that was from ITPE, but I've posted 31 podfics since then! This was definitely the highest volume year even if I haven't (yet) surpassed 2015 or 2014 in duration or word counts. It's made the scale for all my count charts really skewed and I'm so amused by that.

Star Wars and Sleuth of The Ming Dynasty have both made it above the fold on my AO3 dashboard and Hockey RPF is now under the fold. Now to see about getting MCU under the fold...

I accidentally ended up with an extra one, but that's going to wait for another day to be posted.

Looking forward I think I'm going to try and get all of my podfics moved to a different hosting, finally figure out my streaming problem, and crosspost everything to the revived audiofic archive. I also have a couple Very Big projects that I've been eyeing up and may start later this summer.

Thank you friend! I'm very proud that I actually managed it considering how close I was cutting it. I'll probably be xposting (or at least doing roundup posts of links/titles/summaries by fandom) in the next week.
